From Head to Toe

Today's story was From Head to Toe by Eric Carle.  We've read this a few times already, but had never "done school" with it before.  Abby loves making all the movements that the animals make, esp the monkey waving his arms.  After our story, I traced a life sized copy of Abby on construction paper.  She kept telling me to "concentrate mommy" as I was tracing her.  Abby used her markers to color herself in.  Afterwards, she pointed to all the body parts.  She also watched a Baby Einsteins movie (Baby Da Vinci, from Head to Toe) and danced along with the kids to Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes. 

We read from the Children's Bible everyday as well.  Abby likes the pictures and can flip thru all the stories we have read already and tell us what they are about.
